2013 The Blue Wild International Underwater Photo and video Competition
The Blue Wild International Underwater Photo and video Competition is the expression of the new face of The Blue Wild International Expo that intends to promote marine art, marine research and displays the beauty of the oceans and special encounters.
In its first year, the Photo Competition was a total success with 425 entries, 86 semi-finalists and 23 Finalists. The entries represented almost every state of USA and at least 15 different countries.
Craig Dietrich from USA took the Grand Prize with his image “Motherly Love”.
2nd Place was taken by Hamid Rad from Maldives with his image “Different perspective”.
3rd Place was taken by Amir Stern from Israel with “Screaming Turtle”.
The judges assigned 2 Honorable Mentions: Christian Umili from Italy with “Turtle” and Philippe Velghe from Belgium with “Liquid Gold”.
